PR & Advertising
This is a PR friendly blog.
If you are interested in building a promotional partnership with The Truth About Mummy, and you have a product that fits well within the Mummy Market, please email me with your ideas. I like to take a creative approach and think of something new and interesting to post about – but your ideas are always the best place to start! We can work on reviews, giveaways, sponsored posts, brand ambassadorship or dream up something new and exciting to really get mums talking and responding.
I happily accept sidebar advertising, as long as it fits within my blogging demographic and I am happy with the content. Please email me for my media kit and rate card.
Review & Giveaway:
I run a regular group giveaway called The Best of the Bunch. In this I include all of the items I’m asked to review that I think my readers would want to hear about. If they are clever, useful, fun or generally make life better then they’ll be included. The value of the product is irrelevant - it’s all about how good the product is. I do have to personally review all items included and therefore will need to be send a copy or unit for this purpose. I also ask that the PR company or business takes care of all postage costs associated with the review and the giveaway. I don’t charge an administration fee for items included in Best of the Bunch
I also run standalone product reviews where an entire post is dedicated to one product. However in this case I ask that the giveaway be valued at a minimum of $100 – $150. If not a giveaway administration fee will apply. Again I ask that the PR company or business involved takes care of all postage costs associated with both the review and giveaway.
I am available for sponsored posts. Please email me for a copy of my Media Kit and Rate Card if you’re interesting in requesting one. I like to take a creative approach and will work with you to come up with an interesting way of presenting information which is enjoyable to read while also sharing the message you want to get across. Please note that all of my sponsored posts are clearly labelled as such and there is no negotiation around this. Each post will begin with the words “This is a sponsored post for ……….”. It is also important to me that prospective clients realise that paying for a post about a product doesn’t purchase my opinion – only space on my blog and my writing skills. However, if I can’t write the post in a positive tone I will come back to you and give you the choice about whether the post goes live or not.
