Lending a helping hand within our blogging community

Please read this post  by Mumma Moments and see if you can lend her a helping hand.   She has a friend with cancer who needs some head-gear for when the treatments have their inevitable outcome. (She loses her hair).   Mumma Moments is looking for suitable knitting/sewing patterns or links so she can make some for her friend herself.  Unfortunately I can’t help but thought I’d send out a little yahoo to see if anyone else can.  If you’re looking for a lovely little blog to follow, even if you can’t help, you could just drop over and follow her – it might give her some new reasons to smile.  Say hi for me too.  Sadly I’m still struggling to  comment on some blogger posts – even though I’m now with WordPress!

Thanks lovely bloggy friends,

I sent a link over to help out. My friend Trish has her own business as she recently went through this herself. The link is: http://www.hatiheri.com and I love her work. N x

Caz, I am OVERWHELMED at the moment. I signed onto blogger and found I had suddenly an extra 100 page visits? Took me a few minutes, but I soon realised that this is thanks to you! Your kindness of reaching out for helpers has touched me. Thankyou so much. I actually almost deleted that post the last time I was on blogger, I don’t know what stopped me. I wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to ask for help with patterns as most people like to make a living by selling them. I have bought a few patterns and I find them confusing… anyway, I remain optimistic and determined to find a way! Thank you for being such a ray of sunshine. Much love, D x

It was my pleasure to try and help. I hope someone can point you in the right direction. It must be so hard for your friend and in turn you. It breaks my heart to hear of people going through things like this – especially when children are invovled. It sounds to me like you are a very lovely friend 🙂 Cazxx

I really don’t know – but I couldn’t comment on any blogger blogs for ages – so jumped ship. I’m still unable to comment on some. A blogger glitch??

Oh, I have oodles of hat knitting patterns in my knitting folder. I’ll have to scramble through them tomorrow and see if I can pull out the web links for the best ones.
This is so nice of you to draw attention to someone else’s cause, Caz. xx
