Just a nice shot of an eye really. Little pink’s beautiful big blue grey eye. It would be fun if I could tell you I took it on my i-phone, but as I’m an android girl you’ll just have to make do with me saying I took in on my phone.
It’s been quiet here in blogdom this week. I’ve been busy reacquainting myself with term time routine and settling my very last little person into the fun and games that is four-year-old kinder. We’ve now made it through the frustratingly short two-hour transition sessions and are all looking forward to starting the full program next week. Three days a week I’ll be child free for five hours …… whatever will I do? (Seriously looking forward to some quality me time about now.)
In other news, I’ve been spending way to much time tweaking my other blog Ballarat For Families. Why didn’t someone tell me how much work it is setting up a blog like that from scratch? Honestly guys – you could have warned me

The kids going to school/daycare means back to the office for me. Wish it meant I could sit back with my feet up and enjoy a good book and a box of chocolates but my hubby needs me working in our small travel business pronto!
Oh I hope you get some time to yourself Michelle. Business do seem to swallow up me time thou hey! Enjoy being child free anyways.

A beautiful eye, such a pretty photo Caz. WOW! You will have so many things to fill up those 5 hours with, after just getting through our first week of big school with my eldest, I am learning that a school day goes incredibly quickly. Good luck with the official start next week, such an emotional time for everyone xo
Oh don’t they Julie. You really have to plan to make the most of them. I’m sure my 5 hours will zoom on by way to fast. I’m already all booked up with appointments for Tuesday (my first) but looking foward to Thursday when i’m going to do as little as possible!! (Praying the teachers don’t strike – as they’re thinking about down here in Vic!!)

LOL .. we have just started 3 year old kinder … so its only 2.5 hours and it takes me 20 mins to get there (we are in a country town) so I will just be going for a walk in the same area …. reading a book … napping in the car …. not really sure yet LOL.
Enjoy your ‘alone’ time … and don’t fill it with housework! Have some time for you.
That was me last year Carly. It’s only 10 minute drive for me from home – but still not worth coming back. I made it my grocery shopping day and then just had time for a coffee before pick up. Still – enjoy your snooze in the car – it sounds peaceful
