Time gain to do the Instagram weekly wrap.  The blog has been very slow this week, because I’ve been swimming out of my depth with a newly diagnosed case of hypothyroidism - which I rambled on about here.  But there have still been photos –  there are always photos – because I’m totally obsessed with photos 
Who said  you should never put a pet in the microwave?  This is fluffy.  He came to live with us this week to help deal with little pinks nightmares. He’s a heat bag puppy I picked up at the local chemist.  But to little pink he’s a special dream bear who takes away scary dreams so you can go back to sleep easily in the night.  And more importantly so you don’t have to go wake your mummy up!  So far so good.
We turned back to some more renovations this week.  It’s the laundries turn this time.  These are my brand new laundry storage cupboards and I am loving them.  Those draws are magic.  The girls shoes live down the bottom – how I love closing the draw on that messy lot and not having them lying around on the floor. There is also an Arts and Craft draw – how good is that.  Truly I love  finally having a great laundry storage units again.
Big pink has decided it’s time she learned how to cook.  She’s eight – so she’s probably right.  So every night this week she’s been chopping, stirring and serving.  This was Saturday nights curried sausages almost ready to go.  It’s always been my plan to have them all cooking a meal every week as soon as they’re teenagers, so I look on this a stage one of my  master plan
And then there was our Sunday trip to Lorne on the Great Ocean Road.  Beautiful place.  We stopped off at Erskine falls on the way. Chased the kids down 200 odd steps  and dragged myself back up them – before we headed off for a relaxing day on the beach.  As you can see I’ve finally reached the age when it feels okay to wear a huge blue hat to keep the sun away.  Worked a treat too.  Go the huge blue hat!!

Clever big pink getting her cook on… that is fantastic Caz! I recall starting to cook when I was quite little… my Mama was so patient with me, allowing me to experiment and practice on the family.

You are very kind. Can’t tell you how happy those storage cupboards make me. We’d lost almost all of the inbuilt storage thru renovating – and it’s GREAT to have some back. Can’t even fill them all up ….. but I’m pretty sure I’ll find a way

We had trouble with my daughter’s sleeping – and used a fairy cd that tells a story about winding down at night and closing their eyes and breathing in and out.. it has really helped my daughter fall straight to sleep all night..
