Did you know ENJO cleans bodies as well as houses? {+$280 ENJO giveaway} Congratulations Lani.

by Caz on September 18, 2012 · 198 comments

I was  first approached to test drive some ENJO products back in April.   They sent me their kitchen pack to review and guess what?  I’m still using it and loving it almost 6 months later.    In all that time I have not bought a spray and wipe bottle or used any chemicals to clean my kitchen.  You’ve gotta love that (well I do.)  The cloths and gloves are still working perfectly and I love the way that the Kitchen Miracle cloth makes my taps and tiles sparkle. Gotta love some kitchen sparkle!   Although I am still struggling to convince my Nature Boy about the two-step cleaning process – but frankly I struggle to get him to clean a bench even with one step :)

A few weeks back I was invited to attend an ENJO blogger meet up in Melbourne.   Here I was introduced to something new (well to me) from ENJO - their body care range.   Who knew ENJO cleaned bodies as well as houses!!   I was lucky enough to bring home the body care range and have been test driving it for a  few weeks now.     And I’ll tell you straight up it’s good.   It’s simple.  It saves time.  And it’s perfect for busy mums.

I don’t know where you are on your mummy journey – but I do know that for me the past eight year has seen very little time and energy put into caring for my skin.  Before kids I bought potions and lotions. I cleaned my skin nightly and took time to make sure it felt good.  Then my comfort zone and ‘me time’ exploded in a form of three little pink people and self-care stopped – dead in its tracks.   ENJO’s daily faceoffs have been the perfect way to kick-start my self-care/skin care again.  They’re so simple to use and your skin feels beautifully clean and fresh.   Rinse them under warm water, clean your face, and rinse again. Done. (Well I add some rose-hip oil and moisturiser too).   The body glove is also  great for using in the shower.  Leaves your skin feeling lovely – even without shower gel.   So there you have it  ENJO clean bodies too – and do a great job at it to boot.  (You can check out more info, or ask questions, on their facebook page if you want to.)

Would you like to enter to win yourself  a beautiful ENJO Body Care pack/bundle valued at $280?  It includes a set of Daily Face Offs (yay) along with a body glove, face glove, some mini clothes, a backwasher and some beautiful Method body care products. If you’d like to win follow the steps below:

  1. Leave a comment below telling me one thing you would change about Australia if you were Juilia Gillard for the day.
  2. If you are nice enough to share this giveaway on facebook or twitter please feel free to leave a second entry comment.

  • (Check the T&C tab for full T&C).
  • Disclaimer: All opinions are my own. I  received a review copy of products from ENJO  but no financial compensation for writing this post.

The one thing I’d change, if I only had one day, would to work on a better child care solution. Assist parents who feel guilty about going back to work and educate the general workforce who don’t have children. This, hopefully, should take some stress away from a large majority of people. I can’t see it happening in one day unfortunately.

If I was Prime Minister Gillard for the day I would do a lot of the above.
One of the main things I would do is make medicines cheaper for chronic illness patients.
I know I get them cheap being on a disable pension but if one day I was well enough to drag myself to work I wouldnt be able to pay for my medicines. I know some working people who spend a lot of their pay on medications just to be able to keep working. So not fair.

If I were Julia I’d focus on the protection of the two most vulnerable groups in our society; the young and the old. This could be achieved by injecting funds and safety measures into the care and protection of our children and our elderly in the form of safe efficient aged care centres and schools. These institutions are failing our country.

Don’t even know if this is State or Federal, but I wish someone, anyone could change the minimum, not the maximum sentences criminals are given. People need to know, if you are found guilty of a crime, you face at least X amount of time in jail. Not you commit a crime, but your lawyer manages to get you next to no time at all, if you are found guilty, no matter how good your defense, you will do a set minimum, and the maximum is all that can be negotiated.

So much to chose from, where to start! More funding for our social services sector would be my prime objective. More social workers and funding to support the disadvantaged children of Australia, increase early intervention, and improve the resources and facilities available to these kids. We have a great network of Social workers, but without funding and resources, they become burnt out, overworked, and are unable to provide the quality service needed in this critical sector. With improvements here, we may see a reduction in ongoing abuse, improve the education of these high risk kids, and cut down the recurring cycle of abused/abusers.

I think Australia is very good as it is (when I compare with my home country, France, I feel very grateful to be in Australia beause they are jobs here and the tax system/standard of living is better). If I was Julia for one day, I would maybe make learning a foreign language at high school a mandatory option. I have met many Australian that regrets not to have learn a foreign language at school, because it was not available or simply because they were not forced to and as a 12 year old they didn’t see the benefit at the time. Learning a foreigh language as an adult is way more difficult!

Hi, loved the review….
If I were Julia Gillard for a day, I would re-increase the rebate (the $$ credits you get back per unit of energy) when you have solar panels and energy goes back into the grid. A bigger rebate would make it more worthwhile for people to invest in this technology, especially for new homes. It would both reduce our power bills significantly, and help us all be friendlier to our planet.
Every little bit we do, helps our beautiful planet.

If I were Julia Gillard for a day I would implement a “LOOKING AFTER OURSELVES DAY” where we all get a public holiday in the interest of looking after ourselves!!! It would be a public holiday to pamper yourself and make time for YOU!
Taking proper care of ourselves is essential for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. The better we feel, the more we’re able to engage fully with our lives and the richer our relationships with other people become. A good pampering session can balance us from the inside out, refreshing, relaxing and rejuvenating us, making us happier and saner, all of which we’ll carry with us into our dealings with the wider world.
This holiday would revive the whole country so Australia was ready to take on the world…and if it didn’t well at least we all got something nice out of it for ourselves!!! ha, ha!!!

If I was Julia for a day, first thing I would do it put my feet up in the Lodge and have a cuppa tea with Tim. As the 27th Australian leader I would make gay marriage legal, I would give the public schools more money than the private schools are getting, I would get rid of the smart meters and the carbon tax and most of all I would give grandparents a bonus for all the child minding they do, just for the love of it….so us mothers can go to work and not have to pay child care fees. A lot of these grandparents do so much to help their children and never get a cent.

I am not sure a day would be enough. I’d have to say educating our children to be environmentally aware. Maybe Demo ENJO in some primary schools to get the kids talking. It all starts with educating them when they’re young.

Where do you start? There are just too many things to mention but, the things that should be absolute are good healthcare, a good education and for the ability of people to feed themselves, irrespective of the ability to pay. As Julia, I would stop wasting funds in so many areas that provide no cost benefit and direct them to right areas.

As Ms Gillard I would bring back corporal punishment, hanging, death by firing squad, the electric chair. You watch crime rates drop.

That when you move to our country, you abide by our rules, our customs and conform to the way we do things here. Not bringing every aspect of your old country with you, banding together and expecting things to be the same as they were in the country you left for many good reasons, AND everyone would have to speak English & understand our written language fully and completely before being allowed entry into Australia (like they do in America).

I would be clearer in how I explained policies. For example where is the money from the carbon tax going, we need the public to know what environmental measures are being introduced using this money so we can make a difference. If it is not being spent on improving the environment then I would abolish the carbon tax.

I would make all the politicians in our country spend a day in the life of a ‘regular citizen’ so they could really consider people’s needs when they are making decisions on our behalf in the future. I know politicians are regular citizens themselves, however sometimes it feels like they forget that when they make some of the choices that they do.

It would be hard doing anything meaningful in a day i think…..so on that theory alone, i would – go to a really expensive restaurant, meet some really cool people i normally couldn’t get near without security approaching and invite all my friends to Kirribilly house for an elegant dinner – then wake up in my bed to more washing to fold :)

If i were Julia for a day i would literally throw money into schools and hospitals. No person shoukd be waiting in a corridor on a stretcher and no mother should have to sit for hours in a waiting room with a sick child.
I find it ludacris that schools/kindy’s have to fund raise for basic equipment.

I would invest in people.

I’d make it so the cost of public transport to and from work could be claimed back as tax deductible. This would encourage more people to use public transport and recognise transport as a genuine work-related expense!

If I were Julia Gillard for the day I would help the unemployment rate by imposing a 6 month time limit on the ‘new start’ allowance and any other such benefits for people who are looking for jobs. I would also limit the benefit to being vouchers that can only be spent on essential food items, fuel or public transport and they would be given a one off clothing allowance so that they could buy suitable work clothing. I reckon if we had tougher regulations people would go out and find jobs. I would also try to address the boat people issues but employing more people to process them off shore and instead of just giving them government benefits, I would use a system similar to what they use in prisons where the people would be required to perform work and in return would be given an allowance for food and other essentials. I would also make it a requirment that once processed these people would be sent to set areas of our country- places that are in desperate need of population, small country towns where they are currently trying to encourage people to move.

I’d bring in permanent subsidies or rebates on the most Eco-friendly, water-saving, energy saving etc appliances available on the market according the appliances energy ratings etc. This would encourage not only the consumer to “Think Eco-friendly” but would cause the Manufacturer’s to produce more environmentally considerate products.
