A few weeks ago I was sent a lovely pressie from a PR company I’ve been conspiring a little with of late. A beautiful picnic basket filled with Bonne Mamman Jams and conserves and their gorgeous cookbook. As soon as I saw the Cappuccino Caramel Cake I knew I NEEDED to make it. I grew up surrounded by CWA (Country Women’s Associate) type women. Coffee cake, though not heard of much these days, is almost as much CWA fodder as scones, jam and egg sandwiches! And this one is so beautiful – and surprisingly easy to bake. If you are a lover of real ‘homemade’ tasting jams I’d suggest you check out the Bonne Mamman range – they are scrumptious and truly have that country homemade taste. You’ll recognise them by their cute red and white checker lids. (Oh and just so you know this is not a sponsored post – I just really like the jams and this food porn cookbook!)

Caz, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you have a cake baking gift! Your cakes and yummies always look amazing. You should be doing more with that talent.

By the way, that looks like my idea of a cookbook too! And I love homemade jams.
